In this module we will examine some of the masterpieces of history of cinema and we will focus on understanding what makes them great works of art. Classes will be held mainly in English and students will be expected to write an essay on a particular title, as well as to introduce the film to the class and to attend the presentations of fellow students. The films will be chosen from a list elaborated by the teacher and to some extent by the students themselves.
