Juni 2025 mit dem 1. Platz des Dr. Hans Riegel-Fachpreises f\u00fcr Physik ausgezeichnet. In der festlichen Sky Lounge des Instituts f\u00fcr Mathematik der Universit\u00e4t Wien durfte sie neben Diplom und Pokal auch \u20ac 600,- Preisgeld entgegennehmen \u2013 zur gro\u00dfen Freude ihrer stolzen Gro\u00dfeltern. Dieses m\u00f6chte sie f\u00fcr eine Reise nutzen, \u201eein bisschen die Welt kennenlernen :)\u201c. Bevor sie ihr Physikstudium beginnt, m\u00f6chte Sarah sich noch ehrenamtlich engagieren. F\u00fcr ihre VWA \u201eWie B\u00e4lle auf B\u00e4llen fallen \u2013 eine experimentelle Analyse\u201c untersuchte sie das faszinierende Ph\u00e4nomen, dass zwei \u00fcbereinander fallengelassene B\u00e4lle (z. B. Tennisball auf Basketball) dazu f\u00fchren k\u00f6nnen, dass der obere Ball raketenartig nach oben geschleudert wird. Sie entwickelte daf\u00fcr ein theoretisches Modell mit eigenen Formeln und \u00fcberpr\u00fcfte dieses in selbst designten Versuchen. Ihr pers\u00f6nlicher Rat an alle Sch\u00fcler:innen des BRG 9: \u201eMan muss nur etwas finden, das man wirklich liebt \u2013 dann hat man eigentlich schon gewonnen und als kleinen Bonus ist man meistens darin dann auch ganz gut :).
