Prof. Cramer im Vienna Open Lab, um dort die eigene DNA etwas genauer unter die Lupe zu nehmen. \u00a0Aus der Mundschleimhaut wurde zun\u00e4chst DNA extrahiert, um sie dann mittels PCR-Analyse auf das Vorhanden- oder Nicht-Vorhandensein eines bestimmten Gens f\u00fcr einen Bitterstoffrezeptor zu untersuchen. Der Rezeptor ist daf\u00fcr zust\u00e4ndig, dass man bestimmte Bitterstoffe, die zum Beispiel in Brokkoli enthalten sind, schmecken kann oder nicht. Die Sch\u00fcler*innen waren sehr eifrig bei der Sache, jedoch konnten nicht alle ein eindeutiges Ergebnis erzielen, da vermutlich bei der Laborarbeit kleine Fehler passiert sind &#8211; dies zeigt einmal mehr wie wichtig genaues Arbeiten im Labor ist.
